Dear Bronx Legacy High School Families and Community,

I am deeply honored to introduce myself as the new Acting Principal of Bronx Legacy High School. As we embark on this new chapter together, I want to assure you that my leadership will prioritize the safety and well-being of every student. Creating an inclusive and welcoming environment where each student feels valued and supported will be at the heart of our school's mission. I firmly believe that when students feel empowered, they can unlock their full potential and become the best versions of themselves.
At Bronx Legacy, we are committed to setting high expectations that will support our students in achieving their college and career goals. These expectations go beyond academic success—they focus on equipping students with the skills, mindset, and confidence to take ownership of their learning and their futures. Our goal is to ensure that every student is actively engaged in a learning environment that nurtures their curiosity and builds the path toward lifelong achievement.
I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to our teachers, whose unwavering commitment to our students inspires me every day. They are the backbone of our school, guiding our students and holding them accountable to their own dreams and aspirations. Together, we will continue to build an educational environment where every child can succeed.
I look forward to working closely with all of you—students, families, teachers, and community members—as we create a brighter future for Bronx Legacy High School.

We are deeply honored that you chose to begin the journey into your adolescence as a founding member of Bronx Legacy High School. While we may be experiencing challenging times in our community, the country, and the world, we are a community that will overcome it together. Recent events have reminded us of why our mission at Bronx Legacy is all the more important. As our Founders, you will be a part of bringing this mission to life. You are all smart, strong, resilient, and capable, but even more exciting is the untapped potential that each of you will bring to our community. You will be celebrated for your individuality and creativity, and recognized for everything that makes you...YOU. Your voice is important, you matter, you belong. As we officially prepare to open the doors to welcome you into our new community, we would like to hear from you. We will soon reach out to learn more about how you envision your high school experience.
Our promise to you is that we will provide you with an experience, unlike anything you have experienced before. In collaboration with your teachers and community allies, we will bring you an approach that pushes your thinking about what school is and could be, and immerse you in activities that give you a new sense of purpose. We are problem solvers and change agents that will disrupt injustices, and we are connectors that will bring people together for common causes of justice. I am so excited to watch as you spread your wings and show the world the promise of The Bronx.
